November the first up here in Fife was one of those ‘feel good’ days. Hubby and I had been inside quite a lot of the previous week in a pop up charity shop so on our first free day I said,
‘Ever since we’ve lived here we’ve wanted to climb the Binn. It’s a perfect day. Let’s do it!’
Fortunately he agreed and we set off to park at Kinghorn Loch to find the path upwards. The Binn provides a backdrop to our nearby seaside town of Burntisland and we can just see it from
the end of Pettycur Harbour.
The climb was gentle at first with the final two sections a bit of a challenge, more because it was slippery having rained quite heavily the night before.
Once at the top the views in all directions were wonderful, especially as it was such a beautiful day. This one is over towards the Lomond Hills in the northerly direction direction of Perth. Will these hills be our next wee challenge?
It was a day to be energised and to be thankful!
Ahh — looks so lovely there, Diana. Could almost smell the fresh air and feel the breeze. I love times like these when we can get away with our favorite partner. Love and hugs. Thank you for sharing. 🙂
It was so good to enjoy this winter walk on such a beautiful day Pat 🙂
I’ll bet, Diana. It looks wonderful and refreshing. I cherish times and moments like that. They’re special.
They certainly are Pat 🙂
It was wonderful to catch the moment ~ so mild for 1st November. We love it here 🙂
