Life is Blooming in Fife! ~ A plea for help …

Kinghorn in Bloom has been shortlisted for a Grassroots Giving Award by The Skipton Building Society. We would be grateful of your vote. This link tells you all about it and how to vote:

Grassroots Giving Award

‘Kinghorn in Bloom’ is a group of cheerful volunteers who work tirelessly to improve Kinghorn for the folks of the ‘Royal Burgh’, as the Horners remind us to call it, and visitors alike. They are for ever coming up with innovative ideas, encouraging the participation of local groups and individuals ~ even gorilla gardening has its place in Kinghorn.

This year we have won Gold for Beautiful Fife, The Best Kept Coastal Village Award in Fife and Silver Gilt for Beautiful Scotland. The best way to share with you is by photos, so here is a selection of my personal favourite areas:

We need your help folks!

Please support us and vote for us.

Much appreciated!

  1. I’m afraid I just missed out on voting for you by two hours!!! 😦 😦 I haven’t been on wordpress for quite a while Diana, you would have had my vote, and all the family’s votes too. I think it’s wonderful how you have all transformed Kinghorn in recent years, when I first came up to Fife, we used to go through the Royal Burgh ( I almost said village!! LOL!!) onn our way to Burnt Island Pool, and it seemed quite a drab, depressed sort of a place. Now, it’s quite a thriving community!!! All I can say is WELL DONE to everyone involved!!!!

  2. Hey thanks Andy on behalf of Kinghorn in Bloom 🙂 It’s been a pleasure to make a difference.
